Cheques to Schools

Linda and Anthony presented a trophy to Faye and a cheque to Moorside Primary School Music Department in their Celebration Assembly on Thursday. The pupils were amazed by the trophy and the cheque. We look forward to more entering the competition next year.

On Wednesday, Ken and Anthony presented trophies to Young Musician Winners Alyson, Iona and Jocelyn at Lancaster Girls' Grammar School, along with 2 cheques for their music department which will help to pay for a much needed digital piano.

These cheeky chaps look like they are up to no good. 

I just hope they had lots of people winning coconuts, and keeping them busy, at The Carnforth Sports Day.

 Remember to look out for them at Carnforth Carnival and the Health Mela. Both events are going to be great fun.

Young Musician Competition Certificates and Prizes

Rotarians Ken McGrath and Anthony Chick attended Queen Elizabeth School, Kirby Lonsdale, to give certificates to Faye Bowness and Rebecca Chandler, and a cheque to the value of £100 to the Music department.
