Retired signmaker, Dave was rushed to hospital in Blackpool the previous day for an operation to remove an aneurysm in his groin. Following surgical complications both his legs had to be amputated and he later died while still sedated. A great loss to all who knew him. Dave is survived by wife Pat and a son and daughter.
