Carnforth Rotary Club President, Bill Reading presented a cheque for
£100 to 19 year old Molly Faulkner, a student at Chetham's School of
Music in Manchester at our weekly meeting on Thursday 26th February.
Molly has been offered the opportunity to be part of a musical outreach
project in Malta later this year in conjunction with the Commonwealth
Heads of Government meeting and is currently working to raise £800 to
fund the cost of the trip. She will be working with ‘The Commonwealth
Resounds!’ charity dedicated to promoting musicians in all countries
across the Commonwealth.
